Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Marinade:

  • 500 g Chicken breast or thighs sliced into strips
  • tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Ground cumin
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt or to taste
  • 3 tbsp Cooking Oil

For the Vegetables:

  • ½ Green pepper julienned
  • ½ Red pepper julienned
  • ½ Yellow pepper julienned
  • 1 Onion sliced
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • ½ tsp Ground cumin
  • ½ tsp Salt or to taste
  • 3 tbsp Cooking Oil

Instructions
 

Marinate the Chicken

  • In a bowl, combine the chicken strips with paprika, cumin, lemon juice, black pepper, salt, and 1 tbsp of oil.
    Mix well, ensuring the chicken is evenly coated with the spices.
    Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes for maximum flavor.

Prepare the Vegetables

  • In a separate bowl, mix the julienned green, red, and yellow peppers with sliced onions, paprika, cumin, salt, and 1 tbsp of oil.
    Toss the vegetables until they are well coated in the spices.

Cook the Chicken

  • Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
    Add the marinated chicken strips and sauté for about 7-10 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
    Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking. Once done, remove from the pan and set aside.

Cook the Vegetables

  • In the same pan, add another 1 tbsp of oil and sauté the seasoned vegetables for 5-7 minutes, or until they become tender but still crisp.
    Stir often to avoid burning.

Serve on a Sizzling Tray (optional)

  • For an authentic fajita experience, heat a sizzling tray and add the cooked chicken and vegetables.
    You can also serve them directly from the pan if you don’t have a sizzling tray.
