Marinate the Beef:
In a bowl, season the beef strips with salt and freshly ground black pepper.Set aside to marinate while you prepare the other ingredients.

Add the marinated beef strips to the pan.Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the beef cooked through. Once the beef is done, add the drained sliced mushrooms and stir to combine.Let it cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to warm the mushrooms through.
Make the Cream Sauce:
In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk and flour until smooth. Add the cream and whisk until fully combined.Pour this mixture into the pan with the beef and mushrooms. Stir well and let it simmer for 2 minutes, or until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.
Finish and Serve:
Once the sauce has thickened, remove the pan from heat. Drizzle a little extra olive oil over the top for an added richness. Serve the creamy garlic beef with freshly baked bread or fluffy rice for the perfect meal.
Tips:
For a bit of heat, you can add a pinch of chili flakes when sautéing the garlic.
Feel free to substitute the beef with chicken or pork if you prefer.
